Im going fishing tonight on a pier and needed to know about some good lures for trout. They've been attracted to the lights so I'm not sure what to use. Any help will be awesome!!

Thanks Very Happy

Pink and White speck rigs over the lights on the big canals close to the intracoastal are working well right now. Insomina is running wide open right now so I have a lot of time on my hands.

I have had great luck with the pumpkinseed 3inch screw tail grub from Gulp in the last month under the lights

itty bitty little crank baits can work well under the lights. but they can also be a pain to unhook, particularly in the dark.

I personally can't stand spec rigs (although they do work well). I usually have great success under the lights with any type of glow/chartreuse paddle tail.

MirrO MirrO on the wall....
4m 26 (red back) / 4m 18 (green back).
Them ones with polka dots, well, all the better. Good luck.
I always did like Ray's Worm Puzzlers in glow way back when. Once you found the beat and the shadow to light ratio. Get whatever small ML you can find and dance it almost at a standstill. Those fish have seen everything. Have to fool the bigger ones. Shadows.

speck rigs and other small paddle tailse storm shads are great, but you will have to go through tons of dinks. Upsize the bait and you might avoid the 8-11 inch trout, and pinperch biting off your tails. Try the bigger 4inch chart storm/tsunami paddle tail shad. The tails are a little tougher, and I've caught reds and mangroves in the lights on them too. Just my 2 cents.

My go to night trout plastic is a glow/chartreuse paddle tail.
