Well my family usually comes down from dfw at least once a year and get a bonita or jack from fishermans wharf for shark fishing. Well this year we called them and they said they will not and have not in the past hold a bonita or jack for us until we get there to buy it....

So can anyone help us out and have some good info as to where I might be able to find a bonita or jack? Or heck does any one have some for sale?

Check with Roy's, I have given them a credit card before and had them hold it for me. You might also check the bait shop in Aransas Pass, A lot of times they have some stingrays if you hit it right. Most of them are small though.

I've had good luck picking up various rays for shark bait at most of the shrimp boat docks in rockport assume it would be the same in most bay front shops. Also when it comes to bait large asian supermarkets in big metro areas are hard to beat in a pinch ive found everything from whole bonito, pompano, live blue crabs, oysters, and fairly fresh head on shrimp
