Thanks Tom. How was the crowd atthe weigh in/tournament? Since this is a holiday weekend, I opted to stay off the water. Have a great rest of the weekend! _________________ Wishin I was fishin!

| Crowd was pretty good, but less than in the past. I'm like you, don't go on the water on weekends, especially holiday weekends. |

| Wow, yeah I was a bit leery about that first place win. I had two fish that were around 6.5 lbs so I wasnt in the running at all but my fishing partner turned in a fish that was the same length as 1st place but some how was outweighed by 2 lbs!! I could be wrong but that seems like a bit of a jump in weight for the same length fish. Oh well we had a blast and plan on hitting up some more tournaments since my little spot is very secluded (only saw one other boat the whole time, and is chock full of upper slot reds. |

That's sad that someone might go to those measures to win a fishing tournament. But, there was money involved.
If I'm not mistaken Texas Legislature just passed a law "Liars Law"
that makes cheating in a fishing tournament a felony in both fresh and
saltwater. I think there is a dollar figure involved but not sure what it is.

Looks like Gov. Perry signed this bill and it became effective on 5-21-2011
