I was on Mustang about the same time. Water and weed almost to the dunes. Weed looked to be almost 2 ft. deep, This may be the worst weed I have ever seen,

I feel for you guys, it's either high winds and grass or high winds. But we don't want it up on the upper coast.

Soooooo you're saying you guys are without seaweed right now? How does it look towards Matagorda Bay, and the beach there?

I'd make the run there if it was clear.

It may be a PITA to deal with the weed and the spring winds but remember: that's where the new nutrient load comes from to feed the islands.
