Just finished this for one of our fellow fisherman. It's a Rain Shadow SW967F. Split grip formed by myself. It's rated at 3/4-4 ozs, 8 foot 2 piece. This was a great rod to build. Can't wait to hear how it handles Jacks of the jetty...

Gary, can rods be refurbished? I have some good rods but the guides are corroding. I would rather extend the life of a faithful rod than shuck out big bucks replace something salvagable.

yes rods can be refurbished and sometimes improved upon with different guide placement. buda will make sure it's done right
