Man that place was awesome looking everything you could want, but neither of us could trick the reds, and they were clearly there.

So we move to another spot, launch in the mud, and start working the shoreline, nothing. So I move to the opening of the creek/pass to a bay decided to work the shoreline. Start casting along the protected grass line, and start seeing a lot of swirls and mud boils. Now I am getting some hope.

Make another cast about a mile long, and a red blows up on my Mans Minus 1(?) and then the lure just pops up, sitting alone, I am bummed, then all of a sudden, the red comes back and kills it.

At least I got a fish to turn in, we haul back towards the weigh in and try to pick up a trout, no luck there.

The IFA was a blast, I am so looking forward to the next one. They pay out to 13th place, not bad. 1st place gets a Hobie Pro Angler.

I've never done so bad in a tourney! at least I took good pics and ur chauffeur for the day. Had a great time amigo and thats what is all about, 'til the next one in a month or so...
