One of my softball buddies; actually on Tues. he's an opponent while on Wed he's a teammate, had a rough 2 weeks at work so I treated him to an R & R fishing trip. He got to the casa about 8:30 and we hit the water. Went to my usual areas and the first drift resulted in nary a bite. Went to an area where I found decent water yesterday and had a successful day.

We threw lures of various colors and types all of which caught fish, resulting in a double limit. Nothing big, 19" being the largest, but nice solid trout.

We released another 10 keepers and countless dinks. We were going to try for some reds but by 2PM we were both ready for a few cold beers and called it a day.

Sweet.

When I first got it my first grandson was about that size. On many occasions neighbors would think it was Tyler actually sitting there fishing. We've had many a chuckle over that little "gnome".
