So, I get to work Wednesday at 5am for the open boat twelve hour at Deep Sea Headquarters. I proceed to have a grande seizure, slam head first into the aluminum handrail and dislocate my right shoulder. And then by the time I get it reduced in the ER I have another seizure and find out later that I broke my humerous bone (technically) and have the two worse complications with a shoulder dislocation and will find out in a week or so if I need surgury. But I could have died if I fell in the water so thats good I didn't. And the Doctor said I didn't have a seizure disorder and he thinks it was due to severe dehydration. My pee looked like diet coke when I gave them a sample so drink plenty of fluids those of you who go hard. Gatorade and water! I always thought I was unbreakable but I guess not. I'm just hoping that I will be good to go come September 30th Very Happy By the way I do want to go on record and state that I have full intentions of breaking the state record Pompano this year!!!!! I'm going to get it done. I tell ya, I'm very lucky having such an awesome wife. I hope our daughter is just like her. God Bless!

Man, that really sucks!!! I'm glad that you're still here! Shocked

Dehydration can nail your butt to the cross QUICKLY, even without seizures. I have a few friends who have had kidney stone attacks. ALL of their docs told them that if you ain't needing to whiz every half hour or so, you're NOT drinking enough!!!! Embarassed Same thing with the color.................. if you're staying hydrated, there's not much there.

Alcohol and caffeine cause dehydration too, so I'll let each person figure that one out..............................................

I didn't figure anybody my age 40 and up would be going all out like that. When I was 25 it was automatic and basically my body would stop me by shutting down,,,that includes partying too.Ssounds like that is what happen to you.
