This is parking lot by Island in the Sun Church
aka Kates or Deadmans (but it’s really Kates!!!)

the wind is a bit loud, sorry

Lots of these around

Exposed Reefs

The entire area had land all the way around normally there's 1 to 2' of water there

I didn’t catch anything, but I only threw lures (gulp & spoon) for about 45 min.

I have driven by The Oso, Laguna Madre and the tide is very low there too.
Is this normal?
When are we due for the high tides again?
Does anyone know?

Thanks for sharing...

Tomorrow at 15:09 Very Happy Very Happy

Yea, I know.... Smart-arse answer.

Technically, this is the secular excursion tide, or the winter low. Expect things to be "low" for awhile (and the north winds don't help much). The bays will fill back up to the "spring highs" (not to be confused with the monthly 'spring' tides that are associated with the declination of the moon more so than the phase of the moon) come March and April.
