Does anyone use them for bait?? I assume you catch your own. How can they be held on the hook - better. They are really delicate.

Sand fleas or ghost shrimp? I have used both and both are great baits except the sand fleas are hard to get even with a sand flea rake. The ghost shrimp I catch using a ghost shrimp pump or yabbie pump how ever you prefer to call it.

I have had some success with the Gulp version, but never tried the live critter.

There are not usually enough around here of the Sand Fleas aka mole crab, sand crabs etc. to mess with and the ones we have are small. In Florida, yes and they are huge. They also work great in California for corbina(relative of our whiting) and croaker.

A thread created here at corpusfishing.com a few months ago posted an internet site that sold them for about 2 bucks a pack. Have not seen them at Roy's or CC Academy. Ask Luke??

Guys, I tried the Gulp! sand fleas in Destin a few times. Just like the crab, all I got from it was pinfish picking them apart, but who knows.
