|
|
I am in San Antonio and thinking about coming down this afternoon through Saturday and was wondering if anyone has seen how bad the sargassum is. My parents where down before the storm hit and said it was awful, beach report from PINS mentions it, but only on the beach. Any info from you folks that live there or came off the beach yesterday or today would be much appreciated. Just trying to plan my weekend. Thank you.

The lee sides of either Packery or PA jetties might be in order here. Still have weed of course, but shouldn't be AS bad! _________________ Dave

We were there the friday before the holiday. Went as far as the 17. Alot of sargassam. No bait fish.
Fishing was slow, but it was still better than work, good luck |

if you drive down the beach.. tie everything down, including passengers.
Mrs hit her head on a few bumps..
real bumpy ride. lower tire pressure and still a real bouncy ride. _________________ Fish and Hunt Baby.... so tight lines and clear scopes. |

| If you have 4wd, run the high rode and it won't be as bumpy. Otherwise, like mentioned above, plan on a bumpy or very slow ride down the beach. |
