Well, not in the usual sense. Participants included Capt. delliot, Co Capt helliot, Tyler, Augs, Porkfetus, Rockstar Mickey, Yours Truly.

Late start 9 am got pushed back into a hangover start 11.30 AM. Ran the Supafishal out to Ranzells. The two plus hour run was populated by a whole lot of drinking, lots of bad jokes that left my gut sore, only surpassed by a bruised tailbone due to an misjudgement in shuffling over in my seat while the supafishal dropped 5 feet into a hole. Ouch. Glad co capt couldn't hear everything back in cockpit, it got pretty bad. There shall be no t-bagging allowed in said cockpit! LOL.

Found a rip and trolled up NADA. Oh well, let's tie up.

I'm a mangrove snapper addict. Problem is getting stealthy baits to them through the friggen chubs turned out to be a challenge, but still managed a few. Rockstar Mickey yanked up a Rock Hind grouper, quickly pointing at the beast saying: looks like bait, lookee that thing. To which I said noooooooo, we're gotta catch a dozen of those things and fry them up! (love rock hinds)

Fixing to run back in, Tyler hooks up with Dusky on Augs' heavy duty spinning setup (that I want to steal, Van Staal or sumptin like that). Gets off then Augs finds him again. So, a late start out turns into a late return.

Back in at dark (been through packery at dark a few times, no biggie), and hilarity continued. Undoubtedly the worst offshore catching trip ever but the most fun ever!

Very Happy After further review of the video I believe that the shark is a Sandbar - note the larger dorsal. Also the Bermuda Chubs used their "skunk defense/smoke-poo screen" Only one was permitted in and it was like someone had stuffed a pinata with refried beans and beat the living daylights out of it only it wasn't refried beans and it was spewing poo all over the deck! That was the last one that was allowed on board.

Great Tyler. Thanks. You had to pick the picture where the captain was stuffing his face with pretzels? Geesh! Smile

Frayed you realize we may make you the official chef of the SuperFishal cruise lines now, don't you? Porkfetus is, of course, Julie your cruise director. Rockstar Mick would have to be Isaac the bartender, for obvious reasons.

Anyways Jeff, we *always* have a blast on the 'fishal. You just need to quit missing out on most of them. Come to think of it the last few trips all came back with a full fish box until you showed up.... hrmmm......

Glad your "supple bum" (as they say here in Tylerland) survived. Those 3' rollers can sneak up on you when you're going 30-35mph and catching some serious air.

Hrmm.... So guys, you think Robbie is SuperFishal material? Will he be able to pass the double-secret initiation?

Sunset out in the middle of the GOM was a treat. And packery no big deal in the dark as long as there isn't some hooligan kite surfing in front of you..... Which, of course, there was. We nicknamed him "bull chum"....

Um, I can help you clean out any extra trolling motors from the garage, and tell ya what, I got enough fillets right now for you to throw a little fry so THERES NO EXCUSE.

hey, your friends are here to help you sometimes too stan, since you help your friends out so much.

thanks for everything stan.

so delliott, I can't figure it out, but is stan bucking for a spot on the next superfishal trip? Question

Of course IMS has a standing invite..... In fact you can have Frayeds spot. We were talking about kicking him off the invite list anyways Wink Something about running home right after the trip taking all the fish and leaving us with a dirty boat and no dinner.... then cooking up said fish and posting pictures of it all over the internet.

I also have a freezer full of snapper and ling but the missus and I have been chipping away at it pretty regularly. Will try to save some for fry-day and bring it over. But theres plenty more out there.

Come to think of it, its prolly time for a fry at Chez Elliott.... hrmmm.....
