Here are the trout leaders as of 7/26/10....from the CCA website

Lower Coast......Isral Laura 9lbs. 1 oz.

Middle Coast....Cody Mueck 8lbs. 9 oz.

Upper Coast.....Mark McCaffery 8lbs. 8 oz.

I suspect he may be beat eventually...I don't know many hardcore fisherman that haven't caught near 30" fish this summer in the sticks, and when 28"s are consistently weighing 8 lbs in July, when somebody lands a 32-33" fish its gonna bump 10 lbs. There was a 30" brute in the paper this week, bet that guy wished he'd been entered...and its not exactly a secret where they're at. Watch out for those submerged pipes and chunks of concrete you potlickers-there's a bunch of both in there, just waitin' to eat your Majeks...

I caught a 28 on Thursday that was 6 lbs. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him.
