Will Sanchez caught a snook.

Gunbuyer posted a link on how to prepare snook.

While I was looking through that site, I came on this:

I for one will try your recipe on the first one I catch this year in the 2-3 pound range. I will bleed it and gut it as soon as caught and keep it cold on ice. My bet is that it's either poor prep, poor cooking, or the desire to fit in with all the others who say they are inedible.

When I was a kid we ate them all the time. I'm not kidding. But, then we also ate squirrels and rabbits found dead in the road. You might be a redneck if your grandfather has given you a lesson on how to tell if an animal dead in the road is "fresh" enough to take home and eat. I had that lesson one day over a squirrel behind the truck on a county highway. Ate quite a few meals when I was young that way.

To bad their aren't more squirrels on the Island......

Kind of like the two guy with there high dollar bird dogs.

One ask the other what kind of food do you feed your dog. He replies only the best top of the line. What do you feed yours??? He replies turnip greens. He say dogs don't eat turnip greens. He replies mine didn't either for the first two weeks but know there happy to get them.

Never say never!!!!!!!!!!!
