Rivers were high which made the fishing a little more difficult. Still managed to have fun and find some nice fish, although with the size streamers we were using we didn't expect to catch anything small!

I love the searun bulls aka Dolly Varden. You can't miss those pink spots! Thanks for the beautiful pictures.

We fished the Swan and the Flathead, both near Kalispell and Bigfork. The rivers were high and stained so most of our fishing was with sink-tip lines and large weighted streamers. I think the rivers have since receded and cleared....so the dry fly action should be in full swing by now. For these rivers, any big foam fly with legs should work. Our guides usually suggest a dropper (SJ worm, bead head nymphs, etc.) off the back of the dry too.
