I ran into a good friend Bob Bennet at Breakaway Usa in Corpus and he told me that the water was crystal clear at Packery Channel so I decided to try out my Sapocam Water Housing on the PVC boom... It worked awesome. That place is so beautiful or lovely and is a Texas treasure that we need to protect for generations to come. I made so many friends walking the jetties and the beach. Packery is turning out to be exactly what we voted for years back. I bet it will be packed this weekend, but that is a good thing. The beach is perfect for tourists since there isn't any undertows or rip currents. Kids and families should have a blast. If you go , be sure to bring snorkel gear because the water is AWESOME!!!!! Well here is a video I made and some pics from the "Real Texas State Aquarium"!!!! I didn't see many fish caught in the morning either.....God Bless the United States of America!!!

Very impressive work! I wonder if you could get grant money from Texas Parks & Wildlife for future productions? I have a contact there if you would like me to mention it to him. Sure enjoyed the video. If you are interested in going shark fishing with us it happens almost every monday and tuesday. |

Another great production dude. Any chance you invited some of those blues back to the house for dinner? _________________

VERY nice video!! I'm impressed that you captured something of an anomaly. I can't remember EVER seeing this many crabs on the jetties (Port A, Mansfield, and South Padre included), and you got some great video of it. Nice. Now everybody else gets to see what my "fishing" looks like.
(But you ought to record one of those days that I am out there battling swells and "arm's length" visibility, that way there is not a rush on spearguns and masks at Academy. Not every day looks like this weekends!!!) |
