You've got to love living in Corpus. Reds one day; drum the next, and then when you can't go out to fish you can catch dinner in your backyard.

And fat drum too!

Last year we had no crabs in my canal. This year, they swarm the lights. Gotta get me a crab trap in the water!

We had a chance to buy a house on the Island years ago. I still kick myself for not making the move. That is good stuff.

Hahaha, too funny frayed, they even gave ME a house on a canal in this island, heck anybody can move out here! and ditto on the crabs in the lights. Tons of them off my porch, from an inch long to big fat eatin size. I was going to toss some trout carcasses in a trap to try and get some keeper sized ones during the day while Im at school, but two big laughing gulls snatched the carcass right off my filet table before I could set it up. Then I went to grab the hose so I could rinse off the filets, and as I turned around they snatched a freshly cleaned filet too!!!! They must have been thinking "check out these new guys in neighborhood, watch this!" Laughing Laughing
