Met the guys at the launch spot 8ish, and the wind was already blowing.

Today was cool, Chaztherfisherman, Daniel32, Youngsta and myself got to fish together. Had fun guys.

We drifted and paddled all over the place,

Me and Youngsta ended up on these flats, and about the time I have given up on getting a legal fish for the day, I hear Youngsta whistle at me, and he is hooked up, so I start casting my 3" gulp and land a 16" red right off the bat, then nothing. So I decide to move over to a grass/sand area throwing a gold spoon

(never caught anything with one before) then got another rat. So I throw it again, and as I am reeling in the spoon I see a red following it, and crap it's right at the yak. So I open the bail and just let it fall. And to my suprise the red picked it up and ran with it. Landed it 21" (10 more points).

went to land to take a break

tried to get some more but no luck.

at the Yukon heading out.

so good news is reds are out there, and were fairly skinny

It was a good time on the water.
I also did some exploring.
Here's my red at 25.25"

Looks like you guys had some fun today. I can't help but be envious that you guys get to do this everyday. Nice catch and pics.
