Just aquired my first 6/0 reel. I'll be using it surf fishing mainly. What should I spool it with and where can I find that much of it? Appreciate the help.

If you are using it for surf go buy a 1 lb spool of suffix tritanium 50 lb. It will hold up to rubbing the bar better than most mono. 1 lb spool of 50# has bout 1270 yds i believe. Should fill that 6 twice (with a hlw and almost 3x with regular 6.) 1 lb spool should run $45-$50 bucks.
