for awhile now i have been watching teh web cam at caldwell pier to see what kind of activity is going on. yesterday i call both caldwell and bob hall pier to see if they were having any luck with fishhing. bob hall told me that some were catching whiting , sand trout, bonnethead sharks and gafftop. at caldwell pier they told me that some were catching spanish mackeral and hammerhead sharks . not sure about either one but if anyone knews please let me know. we are thinking about coming down next week. i know it is a bit early for the mackeral .

The folks at Caldwell are sometimes not too hip on fish. I called one day a few years ago and some young gal said they were catching rainbow trout. I suspect the hammerheads they were talking about were bonnethead sharks.

on the home page as you look on the list here it says bob hall pier. i click on it and it takes me to a page where i can click on a cam set up at caldwell pier. the one a bob hall is still down
