Are you going soon? Space Needle, if summer, the Ballard Locks to watch salmon. Be sure to eat at Ivar's at the ferry landing downtown, Jimmy Hendrix Experience Music Project. If you are going soon drive up to La Conner and and the Mt Vernon area to see the Skagit Valley Tulip festival. Jillions of tulips and daffoidils are in bloom as they raise bulbs there.

Yes you can walk up from the ferry terminal to Pike's. Not as sexy right now but will have some early spring flowers, not much local produce, but plenty of seafood.

I can recommend the ferry ride to Bainbridge for a walk, bike rental or just to enjoy a meal. It's a neat little island town. If you have the time; go to the Butchart gardens in British Columbia by ferry(about an hour trip) - you won't regret it! Wink Lots of stuff to do on that isle as well. Have fun! BTW: My mom gave birth to my oldest sister there while my dad was stationed in Bremerton.

Ranier Brewery is also fun. You could also stop by the house my grandfather built over 100 years ago where my dad was born in 1918. It is in Ballard at 3032 West 60th or as the Norskies call it terty terty two vest 60th Very Happy

IMS hope you all have a great time. But I do have a word of warning for you. Watch out for the vampires. I hear they like it up there. There's even a movie out warning people about them. Laughing Enjoy

Are you going to try to get some fishing in while up there?
