I've tried Interstate battery, Academy, Wal-Mart and others. For the money Wal-Mart is the best bet, in my opinion.

I've used many of the brands with less than desirable luck. Whta i hac=ve used for 15+ years is Delco voyager, available at Arnold Oil. They are not cheap but I get more life out of them than any of the others.

Try the AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries from carquest. I get them for 90 dollars here in San Antonio. Last a long time and are sealed so they don't leak and they are very light.
