Saturday night was my first time there at the pier and man was it windy. Is it usually that wind and we were using shrimp but they always got snagged off pretty quick? We were also about half ways out. Is it true that the further out on the pier you go the bigger the fish? Someone who was leaving gave us some squid and the held better on the hooks and the fish went crazy for it. _________________ huh |

| if you get there early mornings normally it is not that windy. the big shark fisherman go straight to the end of the pier, while i stay mostly in the second gut that is where the big reds and nice size trout run. |
