hit the water around 2:30ish
Paddled to my first spot, and tides are supper high, water clear in some spots, but off color in others, and water was fairly cold.
some bait fish & sting rays...but no reds or trout,
move to next spot and thought i'd cut thru the mangroves, and found lots and lots of movement, mud boils, did a few drifts in there, and even backed the yak in the grass, but no takers, some were mullet & i spotted a small gaftop, and a few reds, no tails though.
Went for an epic paddle and the wind died down and ccbay was glass. Wierd huh?
Talked with 4 other yakkers and they got skunked too.
Here's some nature pics.

Yes, yesterday was slow. i fished for around 2 hours in the afternoon and didn't get a bump.
My neighbor spoke with a guide who took a three clients down to Baffin, and they didn't catch a SINGLE fish..... |
