Rolled down in the morning... water dirty but cleared as the day went on. Jay and I started banging out fish, and then in the afternoon Curmit and Nate showed up to partake in the slaughter.

We ended up catching over 100 of these critters(??) Twisted Evil

Also nailed some Bull Reds and one Bull Shark. Done with this boring Pompano crap, going back to Shark Fishing.

They won't go to waste, that is for sure. Majority of them will be smoked and vacuum sealed, others finely packaged for the winter. I'm not worried about anything.

I'm grilling some tonight - a little fresh garlic, butter and olive oil brushed on and lightly sprinkled with Zatarain's creole seasoning.

Nice haul of pomps. I hope there are some in the water Friday!

I am glad to hear that you plan to eat some of them. Laughing

100 * 2lb average * $20/lb = about $4k worth of fish. Shocked

I wouldn't pay that much for them but that uis the market rate. Personally, my favorite eating fish too.
