Sitting a Padre burger outside around 7:00pm or so tonight and several fire trucks came roaring past and seemed to go out to the North Jetty of Packery. In a few minutes they all come roaring back and make their way to the South Jetty of Packery. Several trucks and police cars.

Anybody know what was going on? It seemed like a large response to something.

When I heard all the commotion, I thought to myself that something might have happened at the jetties. Hope all involved were ok.
I was actually in a freak accident Saturday while pulled over on the side of the road coming back from a job down south. I was on the side of the road going over paperwork when a car hit the truck head on doing every bit of 70 mph. It was a paramedic who worked all night and fell asleep at the wheel. He had to be halo flighted, I believe. Hope he's allright too.
Later.
Mike

There was a vehicle roll over accident near SPJ on the beach Saturday night.
It looked like a black Nissan Exterra and I believe the driver was ejected. I was not there but saw it on the news.
later,
Ernie
