|

Someone had posted earlier they heard there was an open fire ban on PINS. Has anyone confirmed this? It was said a grill was ok, but not an open fire (bon fire).
Thanks,

It was mentioned on the news friday night. The fire has to be in some sort of metal container. I don't see what is wrong with a 1 1/2 foot hole in the ground. I always put my fire in a hole so the wood lasts longer because it is out of the bellow or wind. _________________ Mastergunner, supporter of hardheads for state fish of Texas |

Some counties up here are considering banning all forms of outdoor burning, including BBQ pits.
The drought is really bad. Lets hope it doesn't get as bad as the 80's drought did. _________________ GOBZA!!!

Wish I had known about the ban over the weekend. We had a nice open pit fire going at about the thirty. _________________ You can get much farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.
