|

Scouted out the Island from Access Road 3 down to the North Sticks, and the aerosols levels are indeed high. There is a solid line of red foam in the 1st and 2nd gut. Didn't see any fresh dead fish at any of the Access Roads, but was not able to drive the beach to do any surveys. The wind and tide has the water VERY high, near the dunes in some places. Beach is in awful shape.
Walked out to the end of Bob Hall (it was kinda weird having the entire pier to myself), and that is some seriously angry surf. The waves were kissing the bottom of the pier at the end every so often....... |

I'm pretty sure I'm feeling the effects outside at the house.I live a few blocks from the water/surf in Port A. _________________ Life is Good |

The front just blew through San Antonio, moving pretty fast your way.

| We went out to 2A yesterday to go to the fish jetties and couldn't even get on the beach for the red tide aerosols. It was so bad that a friend that was with me just started sneezing and then throwing up it effected him so badly. When are we going to get through with this stuff? Hope everyone else had a better day than we did...... |

Red tide severe at Whitecap Beach as of 10:00 a.m. this morning (10/30). Crimson foam on top of waves. Moderate aerosol effect. |
