That was mid-day Sunday. The tide was out & went dead along with the wind. We had paddled all around the flats looking for fish signs and found mostly mullet. George found one 23" red that he caught after he spooked away from him. We saw a few more tails but had no takers. On our way back in, George found some tails when it went calm. We got real skinny and found them scattered out working as singles. They really really spooky and finicky. If they didn't spook from your lure, they ignored it. I spotted on ehuge red backing right towards George. He put out a perfect cast and that giant explode getting out of there. I saw that 27" red tailing from 100-150yds away and worked my way to him. He fell to a DOA shrimp rigged weedless dragged right in front of his nose. It was sweeet!

Robul... That paddle ROCKS!!!! It is the AT full carbon w/ oversize blades and retails for around $450. They make the exact same paddle in glass/carbon mix for $330. It is only 5 oz more than the full carbon and is super super tuff!!! I am fortunate that Wilderness Systems owns AT and it is part of my sponsorship to use their paddles. Very very sweet paddles!!!

You can't see them in the pics, but I actually have 8 on the boat with a mount available for a 9th. My milk crate has 6 attached to the outside of it. I use the back row of 3 to haul my 3 rods I carry. The front row holds my fish lippers, anchor, and my light pole. My boat has 2 flush mount rod holders on each side behind the seat. I don't use those at all. And I have a Scotty base on th econsole between my feet. I can put a rod holder there but I use it as a camera mount/rod rest.

here is a pic of my crate loaded for fishing...
