| Threw a fish fry for my office Friday night - all went well with the frying (thanks for all of the tips from this board). One of my lab technicians is married to a regional manager for Academy and I was telling him about the Baghdad Fishing Club and all the efforts being made by the members of this board - in anticipation of asking for a donation. But before I could get to it, he began to tell me how active Academy is in supporting the Wounded Warriors Project with both equipment and fishing opportunities. That, in my book, is plenty plus you never hear them crow about it. Sounds like they're supportive for all of the right reasons, not for publicity. Cool. |

That's funny.....He was in our store the other day.....I didn't get to meet him because I had the closing shift and I believe he was there in the morning. We try our best!!!!

Its ok I have all I can handle, those wounded soliders have paid the price. Let Academy take care of them as they will need it the rest of their lives. The Baghdad club will be quite happy and content with our gift. If they need more all they have to do is ask " ask and ye shall recieve". We will be boxing up friday evening and shipping from the Oreck store.
