[Lord of the Hardheads]

After hearing all the reports headed out to the jetties with some friends and some piggy perch. Had no hits on the piggies so started netting up some "shad" and right away started getting hits. We got an 18" snook, a couple of small reds, one small trout, one 18" smack, and about 6 mangroves. From about 8-9:30 watched the crowd on the end catch Red after Red, I know several limited out and saw several large ones released. Also saw lots of tangled and snagged lines. We thought about heading over there but it looked even more crowded then a Party boat heading offshore on Saturday.
Water in the morning was so clear you could watch the fish take your bait and spot all the rocks, by the afternoon the water had muddied up and a bunch of trash and grass started coming in.

dang i was thinking it was gona be good out there this moning as i was looking at the clam water in the bay while i was at work..thanks for the report.. no kings or jacks?

I forgot I did catch one small jack about 14" and saw several other nice smacks caught did not see any Kings caught. I thought with the clear water there would have been some kings but after the redfish run in the a.m. nobody was catching anything until a couple of smacks were caught in the afternoon.
