WOW !!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Our grandson fought this monster for 1 1/2hrs. He was one tired but happy puppy !! Ray measured 45" across and had 2 barbs. One barb was 6" long with a curl and the other was about 3".[img][/img][img][/img]

Cyril, our grandson, would stop and rest and pa-pa would say, "Need a little rest?" and then pa-pa would say, " Do you know what that ray is doing while you rest? He is resting too!!" Then Cyril started cranking the reel again !! But you should have seen the smile on Cyril's face when it was finally over !!" Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Way to go in getting that Grandson out there fishing! I can't wait until mine is a little older. I've caught 2 stingrays lately that both had two barbs. Ooooooooo - it looks devilish and reminds me to "stay out of the water"! That is a huge ray! Keep up the good work!
