Are people still using CB channel 1 on PINS? I'm thinking about adding a chickenband radio to the stack.

Hey gonefishing, yes, most of the guys who do go down on PINS and have CB's stay on Channel 1.

Can you hit any of the local repeaters from PINS?

| There is a 2m repeater down in the valley that you can probably hit towards the middle of big shell. I think its at 147.390, pl 114.8. It's up around 1000+ feet too. |

I got an old Cobra at the house and a Truck big enough to put it in!!! Is there any small, out of the way but still good coverage antennas on the market nowadays? _________________ What's good for me ain't necessarily good for the weak minded.... |
