I called my cousin (Zac) in Lockharf and told him the fish were biting so he showed up this morning @ 7:00am I thought to my self, self I hope you didn't bite off more than you can chew.

Hit my honey hole about 8:00am and someone was real close to it. I shut off my motor and poled around him (about a 150 yrds) gave him plenty of room without making noise. went past him about 200 yds and started fishing.

Trout were pretty active, but I wanted Zac to get his line stretched so we moved about 150 feet north. First cast as soon as it hit the water Karen hooked a Red. Before I could get Karens off Zac was hooked up with a 30"er

Told him to tag it or release it. He said "You always make me let em go...LOL". The action was nonstop after that. We ended up with 16 Trout, 9 Reds, 2 Drum and another Mangrove Snapper. We caught and released at least 12 more Reds till the bait ran out. Here are a couple more pics...Adios

BTW, we didn't have enough nails to hang all the fish...Adios

You told someone they were biting, and were actually able to put him on them, man you got all the luck. Soon as I tell someone that, for sure the trip is going to turn into an eco tour... AWESOME reports

It was my pleasure Stan. I am glad you enjoyed them. I found a place to store the trailer.

I don't live on the canals, this is a buddys house and he is in the Bahamas. He said I can park my boat there while he is gone. Sorry for the long post Tray...Adios

I didn't post yesterday because I wasn't signed up yet.
I want to thank you and Karen for a great day of fishing in the catchinest boat you have ever owned. I think I will bring my boat down for some lessons.
My ribs are sore from having the rod under my arm to crank in those Red's.
I hope we can have a repeat in the near future.

Thanks again for the great day, see ya when I get back.

Zac
