Got a buddy that is going to be in the Crystal Beach area near Galveston this weekend and he is looking for some spots to fish. He is going there to help out in rebuilding a home that got tore up from Ike but he wants to get some water time in too. Anybody fish this area  Also any tips on baits, rigs, etc I told him I would post it here since I have never fished that area.

Up the road to the north is High Island, he can fish the surf there just like down here. The water is normally not as clear there as here but the Redfish are plentiful in the surf...Adios
