Well I took Mama out to the same place we caught Reds yesterday and the Trout were there instead.
Ended up with 13 Trout, biggest 24" (4 lbs. caught by Karen) and only 2 Reds, biggest 27".
Karen with the catch.
Adios

| Judging from the other reports the guy who posted this has put up, this is an every day event... They seem to be getting used to it! If I brought in half of that I would be ear to ear and probably tore up from the floor up! |

I'm noting a thick layer of sarcasm there....and I am completely envious......poor Skip...only 13 trout and a couple of nasty old reds. I feel for ya bud....haha.
This year I haven't brought home a single puny fillet. Busy with family, job, life, etc. Only been down to the coast 4 times. First was the trip with my 7 year old (mainly camping). 2nd trip was being the camp cook for my bud HD for a get-together. 3rd trip was kayaking around Baffin ....and it was all-out fishing but I didn't get a keeper. Last trip was a "recovery mission" from work where I spent only 2 hours fishing on the Copano and the rest of the time either napping, checking out the local sites, or cooking/eating. Well..enough of my crying.
I'm ready to get that empty spot in my freezer filled up.

And I was getting worried there were no fish in that 100 degree water. Nice haul. _________________ Tis but a flesh wound. |
