I know this is not the forum for this but I was just curious if anyone has put in at hazel bazemore park and fished the nueces river. Or if there is a boat ramp further up.

Are you talking about Labonte Park. That's the place to put in if you want to fish Nueces.

Yes there is a ramp at Hazel Bazemore, I used to launch a jon boat there when I was a kid and we would go and anchor under a shade tree and catch catfish and aligator gar.
(use bacon, chicken liver, or TV shrimp) Very Happy

But topdog is right, if your trying to saltwater fish, you need to launch at Labonte Park.

My father in law lives upriver from there and we catch some bass, catan, and catfish there... I used to put in at hazelbazemore...if you go way up to CR73 on the river you will hear dualing banjo's as you drive past all the junk!
