We went to PINS last Wed and Dennis caught his biggest Black-tip to date. He did not take any of his shark rigs and ended up catching this 74" on his Calcutta 700 w/ 30# mono. Driving was poor but fishing was good. We even saw sharks swimming in the wade gut maybe 8-10 yds out. He really deserved it because on the way down from the Hill Country we blew the engine in the OLE BLUE suburban and ended up with a rented F250 4x4. By the way, if you ever need a good mechanic, we really recommend John's Auto Builders. New engine and out the door in three days !! These pics are my first to post- thanks to my grand-son sitting next to me.

Very Happy Thanks for the kind words. The driving was very poor all the way, from the pavement to the mid-50's due to high tides. High road in high banks was a must. We had no problem not exceeding the new speed limit. Sad Dennis & Carolyn

Great catch!
I see how the longer leaders really come into play with the Sharks.
I think I have those same shoes! They work very well on the jetties.
Thanks for sharing.
