CBS News Path Southwest

Reed Watson,

Reed can you get us some coverage on the Beach Access Issue in the Corpus area. A developer is trying to steal 7200 feet of access to close it to vehicular access. Reed this is important to defeat this. Texans do not want to loose our vehicular access for the benefit of a damn Yankee developer.

Dear Jim,

I hope you remember me. I talked to you about the beach fight down here in corpus, we have an election on two proposals on nov 7. the first we are against to allow the city council to close 7200 feet of beach next to the south jetty at packery channel and another 2600 feet on the south wall of packery to vehicles essentially creating a private beach. The other side has $249,000 so far. We have $19,000. We need donations to get our radio and tv commercials aired. Can you please ask your members to help us out. they can get more info at www.openbeaches.com or www.wethepeoplenews.org beach edition.

donations should sent to

Beach Access Coalition (BAC)

at

Camest West, Treasurer

13941 Man O War Court

Corpus Christi, Tx 78418

thanks for anything you can do.

John Kelley
