In Texas this is so disturbing we drink to dull the pain
In Louisiana they call it Jubilee and drink to wash down the free seafood.

Does anyone know how far out the effects of this go? I was planning on an offshore trip with some friends soon.

We went up to the Port A. Fish Pass Jetties yesterday, The red tide had just reached that area. No dead fish yet, but the air was bad, sneezing, coughing, eyes watering. It was so bad that our dog could not stop sneezing so we had to leave. We ended up at the Packery Channel bridge. While we didnt hook up, others were catching nice slot reds. I think we counted at least 10 of them. There was some fish die off floating in the Packery, but the air was okay in that area and the water was pretty clear. This was about 4:00pm. Not sure how its going to look today.
