I have seen them by the convention center down on South Padre Island! There is a bridge there for birding and on the way to the water there it was partially submerged in shallow water. Pretty awesome looking. I would hate to be wading and have it come by and say hello! Good thing you were in a boat Gib! So did you get some nice Flounder?

I have heard alligator is excellent table fair, but I do not know legal ramifications in this area.

I would not want to gig that alligator. He was just big enough to make things interesting had I done so for food consumption.

Picked up the flounder pretty fast, but I will say that I continued looking around as I had not been out in some time, and I saw only a couple of more. With only being able to get 5, it does not take long.

4 of them were very good size and 1 was average. Very little to no eggs in them. It is just beginning.

Watch out for the toothy creatures!!
