Went looking for a CCA tagged Redfish today, my hopeful spots didn't have hardly any water in them so I went to the honey hole. Ended up with 6 Trout and 2 Reds (no pic for some reason it came out all white?). First cast I had my drag too tight and broke off a Red. Using pin perch I began to catch Trout, biggest about 21" and smallest 15 1/2".
As I was reeling in the Trout, there were Redfish chasing them. I tossed back out and ended up with a 33" Red that I released. All in all it was a long day. I wasted some gas looking for fish when they were right in our back yard as Stan says...Adios

I apologize for ruining the fishing this weekend! There is a possibility I ruined it for the rest of the summer, seeing that there are about 300 potlickers on this board weighting for a guy like me to say, " they ova here! " I'll try to post sober from now on....
but there " Is Hope " Robul, I still counted only 1 boat catchin a fish or two while I was pluck'in them out. Most people don't know how to drive a boat or FISH. |

and you know what, that is absolutle the freak'in trueth that we ain't hurting the fishing population!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is a small spec of water on the entire texas coast with 1,000's of fisherman on it and you can still pull up 30 yards for a boat and catch 20 trout and 6 reds, and 2 oversize!!
Lets have another " healthy debate " on how the world is coming to an end! in 2 years, no one will be aloud to keep fish, Just say'in. just my prediction.
I"m just kidding, no one say anything, it was a joke, if you say anything, your not cool, cause I was just kidding, seriously, i'm kidding!
If you Post, your weird or need to get married or some shiiaattt. |

problem is Skipper I've heard rumors that the redfish that were dropped off in the backyard were caught by people NOT ENTERERED AND KILLED. they didn't return them to the water for someone else, they selfishly killed the tagged reds. and I know that folks did it last year too.

Not until this PINS thing is sorted out and after turtle season. I am not driving 15 mph all the way to the 40's unless sand dictates...Adios
