since the last post my fishing buddy came in to town with us and i got alot of fishing done picked up about a dozen whiting in the surf all about one pound the blue water was at the 3rd breaker i attempted to get it with my small surf outfit i failed the waves were kinda picking up at the station street pier last night caught whiting and hard heads yesterday today hit up the station st. pier with some better results picked up whiting hard head again with that picked up 2 gaff tops in the 3 pound range i let them go on the other side of the pier(going towards the gulf) a guy hooked something pretty big maybe one of those drum it took his line under the pier and busted it(oh i hate when that happens) the action would come in waves and calm down i called it a night early as u can see having to pack up and go back home to San Antonio oh do i hate going home i do love this island and the good fishing unitil next vacation year

on a bad note dose anyone know where i can get my penn reels fixed maybe even my zebco (yes i do use zebco)

I don't know about your Zebco. You should take your Penns to Roy's in CC.

If you are in San Antonio you should use Matt's Reel Repair. He does excellent work. He works on Penns, Shimanos, and many other brands. I don't know if he works on Zebco's but its worth a try.
