Yesterday I had a film crew from Field and Stream down in the Big Shell with me. My wife and I decided to go with a Version cell phone provider as I was having no luck at all with AT&T. I called her while driving on the beach without even stopping the truck to call from the 16 mile and got through fine. I am impressed. BTW, the ol' man hasn't smoked ANYTHING in 392 days. After 50 years of chain smoking is that cool or what? Good fishin' Capt. Billy _________________ If we don't leave any there won't be any. |

| That's great to hear about the cell phone coverage down there. Even greater to hear about you being a quitter. It's been so long that I quit, actually sometime back when I was fishing down the beach around you back in the mid 80's. Life goes on and it's great. Way to stick to it!!!!!!! |

Smartest thing I ever did was to quit smoking. Now, I absolutely hate those stinking things.
Congradulations on quitting. _________________ one-upmanship is a fun game........and it's your turn. |

Pat on the back for ya, Capt for quitting the smokes. I quit in 2000 after smoking for 8 years. Took a full year for the cravings to really cease. Looks like you passed that mark. Good on ya..

Congratulations Billy, on quitting smoking. Your lungs also thank you! I just went thru a terrible, painful end of life experience with my father-in-law. Lung cancer is one of the worst ways to die that I've seen first hand. We all look forward to your continued reports and information on PINS and the wonderful work you do there! _________________ Character is doing the right thing because it is the right thing to do, not because someone else is making you do it.

My phone worked once while at yarbourogh. But signal faded.
Also found out its best just to shut your phone off while way down there if your not getting a signal.
It will run your battery down fast trying over and over searching for a signal. you'll want a good charge when you get back in range to answer all calls ect. _________________ -STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS!- |

Congrats on quitting smoking. Been since September 25, 2008 for me. Best thing I've ever done for myself. _________________
