South was dirty to the end .
Lost a upper slot red at the rocks but only other thing was a few Gaftop on the surf side.

I fished NPac Wednesday, water was coffee/w extra cream colored. There where gazillions of 3" watermelon shad pushed against the rocks, a few mullet (mostly bigger than 7") and a school of menhaden that pushed through, only seen them once.
I caught one trout from 10-3, it was damn hot out there, but the surf was flat enough to through tops til I left.
A week may change the water color and the bait conditions but thats just a guess.
I also ran into Titelines brother Don; Titeline ain't doing well. He is on dialysis 3 days a week, with nearly complete kidney failure. Send him a prayer. I hope to see him on the rocks again. |
