Just imagine a 30" dead tarpon. Saving a pic c'mon. If that works for a virtual game warden let me know si I can figure out ways to stop other illegal actions.

So the guy is an idiot. Bet he doesn't do it again! I agree that the bashing doesn't need to be drug from one board to another. Especially if he isn't on this forum. I reckon he needs to donate a few hundred dollars to tarpon for tomorrow and post up the donation receipt.. He should pay for that 30 " tarpon that he took .

I don't think he would have posted it online if he knew it was illegal. It's waaaaaay over the top to be a jerk to this guy. Fish are fish, big friggin deal he messed up he knows now, if the behavior continues then it's reportable.

To bash or not to bash. That’s everybody’s prerogative. I was pissed to when I saw the pic. But I think some people are missing the point. This is not a discussion on whether the person should be bashed or not. This should be about education. Having people know what the rules are. Maybe when a new fisherman or even an advanced fisherman reads this he will go back and make sure he knows what he is doing. He will know what kind of fish he has on the hook, how many he can keep and what the length must be. Its been awhile since I have caught something other than a speck or red, so I can see how easy it is to forget what we need to know. Wink
