I have seen (heard) people fishing with the radio cranked up. Some say it spooks fish, some say that it dosen't make a difference.

no radio on my boat. Not saying I woudlnt like one for the long rides but redfish will be able to hear the bass beats for sure. Silence is key in flats fishing. If your bottom fishing in a deep channell not so much though.

I just haven't figured out where to mount on kayak. I think the fish would love a little Jimmy Buffett.

I have a cd/radio on the boat, sometimes turn it on sometimes I dont. and then its an old truck radio and sometimes it just doesn't work though too Very Happy

definitely cool on those long road trips, or when just drifting the flats for fun.

104.5 has a block of Zepplin at 7:00pm every weekday, when that comes on we figure that's the start of the witching hour(s). Cool

El cheapo Scandisk mp3 player with fm tuner built in $34.99 @ Wally World. I have an external battery driven speaker that I use if the wife is in the boat.

Ditto the zeplin block @ 7:00 PM. Car Talk on Saturday morning is pretty cool too. Very Happy

No need for radio. Besides I would have to crank it too loud hear while I wading a secluded shoreline.

I only jam to my clicker, and sound of melting flesh as drag peels off my 28/0 Penn! I'm not sure how you amateurs do it! Wink

Offshore we are always jamming. I do believe it helps with the fishing, anything will attract fish in ocean. Heck we slap the hull when fishing for ling, it's like a feeding call. Inshore, I would probably tone it down to background noise while fishing, but we be jammin Very Happy at WOT.
