I use the Laguna Madre in text as "The water" in between Texas and the Island...CC Bay to Rockport. WTF is the right term? I said I went to ULM and fished Allyns Bight and someone said - that's not the LM it's Aransas Bay - well I know that AB is there - I was just generally sayn, I wasn't at PINS or Deep Sea.... help....me....talk

the ULM generally starts at the JFK Causeway, and runs south to the land cut. below that is the LLM to isabel

moving north, corpus christi bay, then redfish bay (south of the AP causeway), then aransas bay (allyn's bight, backside of St. Joes) then copano (on the west) and Ayers (on the east). then you get up north to cedar bayou and san antonio bay and points north.

top spot will help.

Its generally the area behind Padre Island and a little of the southern end of Mustang Island. The ULM goes from south of CC Bay to the Land Cut. LLM is from south of the Land Cut to Brazos Santiago Pass at South Padre Island.

Also, the islands are in Texas too, so you might want to say between the mainland and Padre Island.

Yeah, the Upper Laguna Madre is south of CC Bay, basically south of the JFK. It runs all the way to the land cut. The lower Laguna starts at the south end of the land cut and runs to the border or South Bay. The land cut, well it's the Land Cut.

I CONSIDER IT THE BLUFF AREA AND AS YOU GO FURTHER DOWN SPECIFIC AREAS HAVE SPECIFIC NAMES. KING RANCH SHORELINE, EMMORDS, NIGHTHAWK, MARKER 186 ETC.

Areas north of the causeway and south of CC Bay are part of the Laguna Madre. This is from a USGS Topo map.
