Went down to Y friday night.. met up with Tarzan, finally we all ran out of beer and cigs.. left on monday afternoon..
People just do not know how to drive in the sand.. pulled out 2 people from pass and there were many others that tore it up and didnt make it back there..
But any of you regulars that are running down to PINS can you make a run back to the Y and check on Jim and his wife Sheron i think.. and make sure they get out ok..
They are planing on heading out on thursday. They are running a real nice 3500 with a camper.. he knows how to drive the sand.. but we got him back there to avoid some spring breakers and get out of the wind.. they were camp 100yrds north of the entrance to the y.. but he drove through that stuff easier than me.. we just stopped at the solid just incase he would of had problems..
heading out shouldnt be a problem, but would be nice if there is someone on solid ground just incase..
Tarzan still does not believe they got up there with no problem what so ever.
thanks. _________________ Fish and Hunt Baby.... so tight lines and clear scopes.

They are Jim and Sharon Wightman from New Woodstock NY. Probably the nicest people I have met on the beach in 30 years. Their dog "Duke" is just as nice. Anyway, I'm sure Jim won't have a problem getting out. They could use some drinking water if anybody is going that way. I left them my last two gallons and they still had four. What an awesome four day weekend. I will wait for Snake to post his report but there were alot of fish caught. Snake even boxed a 25-1/2" Trout. The driving is beyond bad so remember the Froghunter motto....We're not stuck until we're all stuck!!

Man that sounds good. It reminds me of a news story the other night about the Catholics and the lent season. They say they won't eat meat but fish and frog legs are ok. Made me laugh. I guess fish is a vegetable and frog legs are fruit...LOL

That was a lot of laughes guys and enjoyed the fishing....particularly when snake woke up the entire camp at 4am with his trout. Lots of black drum and libations slayed in those four days. Hey frog hunters were not all out of beer yet.... ...LOL !!! _________________ Become a part of the food chain, wade fish.
