Do you mean does Packery Channel have channel markers, or is the Packery Channel intersection with the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway marked? The answers are: neither.
Packery Channel does have a bunch of NO WAKE markers. The intersection is marked informally by the John F. Kenedy Causeway bridge; it's just north of the bridge. _________________ The Trash Heap Has Spoken!

Thanks....If I'm reading the maps correctly, you would hug the shoreline from ICW from launching at one of the marinas under the bridge?

As soon as you cross the JFK bridge over the GIWW, turn right immediately at the bottom of the bridge, circle right again under that bridge and you'll be facing one of those launching ramps alongside Billings' Bait Stand. Turn right out of the ramp and procede eventually to the Gulf up Packery Channel. Until they finish the ramp next to SH 361 and its bridge over Packery Channel, that'll be the closest public ramp to the Packery jetties.
Keep your speed down. There are angry shoreline owners along the way. _________________ The Trash Heap Has Spoken!

And on the weekend the odds are in the Game Warden's favor that you will be checked. We have been checked more through Packery this summer than the rest of your life combined...just expect it.

We are ready for the Game Warden....no problem. Might put in about 3:00 AM on Friday morning. Do you think it would be difficult to navigate to Packery at night if you took it slow with a bow light?

Should be okay inside channel banks - there are 2 right-angle bends within the first mile - but watch the part under the SH 361 bridge. Strong currents on certain tides bottle-neck under that bridge. _________________ The Trash Heap Has Spoken!
